15 Minutes of Fame or More?

So looking at the Technorati Top Searches list for today, I notice there are four names featured.
- Paris Hilton: This femme fatale seems to be a regular in the list more than anyone in the world.
- Galilea Montijo: She might become the next Paris since she’s in the list because of some amateur porn video starring herself in it.
- Marilee Jones: Naughty person who quit her job as a dean at MIT when it came out that the resume she used to get he job 28 years ago(!) was fake.
- Mike Penner: A veteran sportswriter who has worked at the Los Angeles Times for 23 years. He/she decided it would be nicer to be a woman and is undergoing a sex-change at the moment and will probably pop up in the list again under a different name; Christine Daniels.
Now the question I have on my mind; Will this temporary popularity have any impact on these people? Paris aside as she is well capable of handling the attention obviously.
And for those observant readers amongst you, this was indeed another sneaky link-bait experiment
