$2 Million Baseball Cards Collection For Sale

By admin | April 8, 2007

After 50 years of collecting baseball cards, Lionel Carter has decided to part with his baseball cards collection and put it up for sale.
So what does $2 Million get you?
The 50,000 card collection includes a near-mint 1910 Ty Cobb, a 1951 Mickey Mantle rookie card and a 1910 Eddie Plank, which considered the second-rarest card in baseball.

The cards range in age from the late-1880s to the 1980s.

That’s a lot of money for a bunch of old pictures if you ask me but perhaps you should spend this Sunday in the attic searching those boxes for hidden gems like this :)
