Digg Doesn’t Like Me. Screw Digg
By admin | April 27, 2007
So after I got banned I mailed feedback@digg.com and abuse@digg.com to apologise for not having read the TOS and there for “abusing” their system when I started blogging. What do they do? Ignore me.
Well I guess in that case I might as well make the best of it and earn some money through them by digging stories for money.
My first assignment is done and I made a whooping $0,50 ![]()
If you want to signup, you can put a referral username there. Unfortunately I was silly enough to use my Digg account name so I won’t be posting it here in case any Digg-staff comes snooping around

Hey Bob, sorry to hear about that. I’m interested in knowing what happened to get banned. Also, what does that mean, exactly? They terminate your account?

I submitted some of my own posts. I discovered Digg when I started this blog and saw no wrongdoing in using them to get exposure. Quickly I got flagged as a spammer by the core diggers and got this URL banned. I didn’t stop there; I used the Alexa redirect link to get dugg anyway and had an article that was nearly popular with 33 natural diggs before it got removed. So Dig doesn’t care if it’s users like something or not. If Digg thinks your bad, you’re out. My useraccount got banned too after that

Digg is big enough to bully people around these days so it seems that’s what they do. I apologised in several emails but just get ignored. So screw I say screw Digg

Yikes! Odd thing is that I’ve read on other blogs that using Digg to promote your site (in moderation) is acceptable. What “moderation” is defined as is up for debate, I guess.

Digg isn’t everything though, sure it boosts your traffic for one day but it dies down quickly after that. I much prefer Stumble Upon
