Domestic Violence during the Holidays

By admin | December 29, 2007

Holidays is often a time for celebration. Yet, this is often a time of loneliness, pain and misery. Those who are in a challenging relationship may sometimes find themselves arrested for spousal abuse or domestic violence. These days the cops are equal opportunity folks arresting both husband and wives. Who determines who the victim is when both are equally at fault? More often that not it is usually based on who called the cops the first and sometimes based on who has the visible injuries. One Los Angeles Criminal Attorney noted that in California, the bail schedule calls for $50,000.00 bail. Ouch!

This is one of the ugliest thing to face. Domestic violence is present wherever we’d go, we have to admit it, even if we don’t like it.
