End of Month Recap - April

May has just started and I can just about squeeze in some interesting April facts about this blog’s road to world domination. The recap will be slightly different from last month’s because some statistics aren’t accurate since I moved to a dedicated host halfway through the month.
- Unique visitors and total bandwidth were less in April since I managed to get banned from Digg and Reddit
Still, from the 15th of April up to today, I received around 5500 uniques and a total of 200,000 hits consuming 1,8 GB of traffic.
- Technorati has seen a huge improvement. Last month at 119,220 (73 links from 36 blogs. Currently I’m ranked at 25,278 (357 links from 159 blogs). On top of that, 91 of you favored the blog which I think is awesome. You guys rock!
- Another vast improvement is seen in the Alexa stats as I went from 378,992 to 223,772 with a weekly average of 68,924
- Now for a newcomer; my RSS subscriber stats. We went from none existent to over 100 subscribers and I’m pretty excited about that! Much has to do with the Feed my Feed experiment which not only gave me a huge boost in subscribers but also plenty of link love, improving the Technorati number. You can still participate and increase your readers and link backs too.
The numbers are great but even better is that I have met some really great and helpful people through this blog and hopefully I will get to know more of you. You can sign up for the Guest-Blogger Beta project and introduce yourself and your blog in a post if you like. It’s not scary, you won’t be the first one
