Guest Blogger Beta Update

It’s just over three weeks ago since I introduced the Guest Blogger-Beta initiative and it seems to have been a small success.
24 users signed up and 6 of them wrote 16 posts between them!
Unfortunately I also got heaps of spammers signing up and I was constantly busy deleting these users.
I have decided to disable the sign-up function next week, when the program has been running for a month. I won’t delete the current accounts however since I still believe this opportunity has some great blog traffic potential. For those of you who got a post published, did you experience any benefits from this all?
Something else I have been thinking about is to limit my daily posts to 1 or 2. I got the feeling that I was cramming too much stuff into one day and that some of you got put off by the information overload.
This will give me some extra time to start building up my new project; BobmeetsMac.com. This will be a blog purely focused on, you guessed it, Apple 
I’m not sure what angle I will be playing yet though. New Apple product and software reviews, general Apple buzz or Apple issues, like macbooks with flickering screens. Perhaps all of the above. We’ll see how we go.

I really enjoy the guest-blogger feature. I have been able to spread my content around to my users and have increased my site traffic. I love this feature but understand why you have to close entries, way to many spammers. This was a huge problem for me when I had forums and since my site is very small, I had no staff. Therefor, I had to shut them down.
To sum everything up, I love guest blogger. It’s great exposure for new writers and helps young websites grow. I love this feature!

The fame and fortune that I’ve received from guest blogging on BobMeetsWorld has been simply indescribable. To think that me and my “wittle bwog” could have skyrocketed to such heights in such a short amount of time has truly made me stop and rethink my career path.
Okay, back to reality.
Seriously though, I enjoy guest blogging here, not just for the traffic it brings me (of which I’ve seen a slight increase — I am thanking you!), but to simply connect with others and exchange information and ideas.

Yep, I only deleted spammers, wont delete any other accounts but I will close registration at the end of the week.

I didnt get too much traffic after posting here, but there is benefits on posting on other blogs like i mentioned in my post
I have a follow up article I hope to get posted sometime soon
