Make Money Using Digg

By admin | April 19, 2007

Getting your site noticed on the large social bookmark sites like digg can lead to amazing amounts of traffic (20,000+ unique hits if your story becomes popular) and there for interesting for anyone who is trying to make money online.
As great as these social bookmark sites can be, there are flaws that work the system and destroy the value of submitted stories by paying people to get a story on the frontpage.
Specialized companies will pay $0,50 to everyone that “diggs” a certain story while asking $1,00 for their services from the owner of the story in question. If you are registered with Digg and want to start making money just by digging specific stories, go sign up with Subvert and Profit.
Yes, its evil and unethical but hey, Digg doesn’t seem to have a problem with that.
This blog has been banned from Digg because I dugg a few of my own stories and got marked as spam when I started blogging. Digg just doesn’t reply to my emails in which I ask for a valid reason. I have sent about 4 to their different addresses but the immortals seem to be too busy counting their money.

Happy digging.

Is this normal procedure if someone diggs their own articles?

Seems a bit strange, if you think you have written something good why shouldn’t you be able to put it out there?

I think it has to do with a core group of users that once they decide they don’t like you or your posts, will report you as spam.
