The Ads Are Back In Town
By admin | May 30, 2007
Five days ago I had decided to remove my in-post ads completely and try to get some “readvertisers“. Unfortunately this isn’t the success I was hoping for and with 15,000 unique visitors, who probably wont even read this post, I’m selling myself short. Obviously Adsense is not an option anymore and I have chosen Adbrite in the from of a small banner at the end of the three latest posts. I believe these are pretty unintrusive and not as irrelevant as sponsored post entries about silly stuff like kevlar sheets. I hope you guys won’t mind too much. We all have bills to pay.
Any suggestions that help me with my bills (I live in one of the most expensive cities in Europe) are more than welcome.
You could for example order a review from me, (Technorati 14,000 / Alexa 99,000) I promise to deliver a positive 500 words post or just give me your lunchmoney ![]()

Yeah, readvertisers are really hard to get. The Adbrite is probably the best move you could make except that it has the downside of sending visitors away from your site.
Having been in the same situation, I’d recommend you check out some affiliate programs that you could link to at the end of each post.
Maybe check this out for a start:

That’s not a bad idea. Have seen it implemented before and was thinking about it.
