What’s Driving My Explosive RSS Subscriber Numbers?
By admin | April 26, 2007
For some reason I just could not manage to get more subscribers to my full RSS feeds. Then I started promising people stuff like free hosting for a year and we were on the up. However, around the same time I left a post on the feedburner forums because my stats seemed extremely low compared to the amount of daily traffic I am getting.
A screenshot taken just now shows you that my feed subscriptions have increased by over 500% in the last two days!
Now I am trying to figure out whether there was a problem with my stats on feedburners side or if my free hosting contest really picked up.
I’m more inclined to believe Feedburner had problems with the statistics since there are similar reportings on their forums and because I don’t see over 50 comments in the contest post.
Guess time will tell. Still 14 days to go before the contest ends, give yourself a shot to win and subscribe today!:)
Don`t want to miss a thing? Just subscribe to the full RSS feed :)!

I’d be interested to learn of your findings, Bob. Analytics is still something of a mystery to me. I use Google’s offering and a WP plugin to show me some stats, but honestly, I still don’t know how to really get into it all and find out what increased my traffic.
