Zillow Schmillow

Zillow is one of technorati’s popular words today but I guess I won’t know what the fuss is all about using Safari.
This is what I get in my browser:
- “We do not support the Safari browser yet
Instead, please use Firefox for the Mac
If you don’t have it already, please download the free Firefox browser from here:
http://www.mozilla.org/download.html
and then return to Zillow.com where you can find home valuations and more.”
Great stuff zillow.
-update- David G from Zillow.com came by and explained why this happened.

Hey Bob, it’s David from Zillow.
I’m also a mac addict - I hear ya!
We did just add support for the new version of safari — you can download the beta version from www.webkit.org or wait for Leopard to come out later this year. According to our developers, the current production version of Safari has pretty bad JavaScript support which is why we block that browser today.
I hope this helps.

I really shouldn’t be using Safari anyway but it’s just so conveniant. Iv’e tried the webkits and keep running into trouble with those builds.
Appreciate you coming over here to explain why the site isn’t supporting Safari…yet.
